Craig Rekerdres

President & CEO

Craig Rekerdres has been in the insurance industry since 1970. He earned his insurance license in high school and started building his own book of business right out of college.  Early in his career he received training at Lloyds of London, where he developed a keen sense for understanding complex risks. In 1986 Craig started Rekerdres & Associates to help businesses develop a sound insurance program. Over the past 30 years he’s grown an agency that covers risks ranging from manufacturing facilities to international defense bases to local restaurants. He’s provided risk-consulting to business-owners, multi-national executives, and personally mentored some of the brightest insurance minds in the DFW area.

David Rekerdres

Vice President

A 3rd-generation insurance agent, David Rekerdres began his career in high school assisting CSR’s during summer break. After graduating college in 2010, he immediately started full-time work at R&A. He became the agency’s ‘jack-of-all-trades’, quickly contributing to IT, marketing, accounting, and customer service. Over the past 10 years David has immersed himself in commercial insurance…earning his CPCU designation, mastering industry-specific coverage, and providing video-content that explains best-practice risk management. David enjoys participating in church activities, learning Mandarin Chinese, and avidly following the Dallas Cowboys.

Dan Fagan

Operations Manager

Dan Fagan has a unique blend of agency experience and insurance underwriting knowledge. His career spans several decades. He has served as underwriter, marketing rep, and territory leader for major insurance companies like Travelers and Zurich. He was the regional manager for Heartland Marketing. In addition, Dan co-owned and operated the largest commercial insurance agency in Batesville, Arkansas. Dan is committed to the customer. Offering his cell number to any and all clients, Dan truly provides 24/7 service. He’s an avid golfer and enjoys spending non-office hours on the golf course.
